About Connie Springer

I am a longtime professional photographer who started painting in watercolor over 16 years ago as a student of celebrated artist Ken Landon Buck.

In both my photographic work and painting I use my passion for storytelling and my interest in people to explore the world around me.

For 15 years I was a member of the Art Circle Studio at the Essex Studios artists' building in Walnut Hills. I currently belong to the Cincinnati Art Club.

My education includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Oberlin College and a Master's degree in Library Science from Simmons College. After college I studied photography in a two-year program at the Art Institute of Boston.

Over the last decade I have written and self-published two photographic narratives, OUR FAMILIES: A Celebration of Adoption and POSITIVELY NINETY: Interviews with Lively Nonagenarians (available for purchase from my photo website).

My work has been widely exhibited and published.
