About Connie Springer
I am a longtime professional photographer who started painting in watercolor over a dozen years ago as a student of the celebrated artist Ken Landon Buck.
In both my photographic work and painting I use my passion for storytelling and my interest in people to explore the world around me.
Since 2009 I have been a member of the Art Circle Studio (Room 124) at the Essex Studios artists' building in Walnut Hills.
My education includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Oberlin College and a Master's degree in Library Science from Simmons College. After college I studied photography in a two-year program at the Art Institute of Boston.
Over the last decade I have written and self-published two photographic narratives, OUR FAMILIES: A Celebration of Adoption and POSITIVELY NINETY: Interviews with Lively Nonagenarians (available for purchase from my photo website).
My work has been exhibited and published.
